the murders of the americans last night. dick morris on a bunch of new polling out today. some of it good news for mitt romney. we are coming right back from boston, massachusetts. >> continuing coverage of breaking news on fox news channel. i'm shepard smith in new york. and we're monitoring developments in libya. one day after attackers in benghazi killed the u.s.s. ambassador and three other americans. u.s. officials tell fox news tonight the pentagon is now moving two warships to the libyan coast for what it calls contingency purposes 50 marines heading to tripoli. u.s. lawmakers say killers may have been planning this for some time. >> it was a coordinated military-styled commando-type raid that had both direct fire and indirect fire. military movement involved in it. this was a well-planned, well-targeted event. >> shepard: the violence in benghazi in libya came as we marked 11 years since the attacks of 9/11. members of the senate intelligence committee are calling for investigations to determine whether there is a link. we'll have another update at the bottom of the hour.
